• Winter Coat

A jacket I built to face -15 degree temperatures in New York. The jacket has a duck down fill (recycled from a sleeping bag) and features three external pockets, one for cargo and two filled with down for additional warmth.

  • A chair I designed. Built by Ruaridh Gillespie, Kaurerewa Koopu and myself.

In my interpretation of a denim jacket, the double-pleated front seen on Type 1 denim jackets is moved outwards serving as the pocket edge.

A Custom Touch

Certain pieces have custom modifications. This includes a two way Riri zipper on a Zip-Up Shirt, a custom embroidery on a pair of Selvedge Denim and an additional pocket designed for a security card holder seen below.

  • Shane Manoa and I collaborated on a series of pieces. We drew inspiration from traditional Lavalava and contemporary shorts from Shane's favourite designer, Rick Owens.

German Army Bags

Initially what attracted me to the German Army bags was the hardware. The cast aluminium snap-hooks reminded me of the hardware used by one of my inspirations, Bryan Jimenéz.

I have made many bags cut from the larger German Army duffle bags, each with a unique finish.
