Convertible Bag
Convertible Bag
This bag was made as I didn’t want to be caught at university with a backpack. The bag features detachable backpack straps which can be adjusted for length, these straps connect to the bag with aluminium G-hooks. The interior is lined with taped side seams, one zip pocket and one regular pocket. The bag can fit a laptop case, iPad, lunch box and of course, a Nalgene in the specially-made exterior pocket.
Engineering Recommendation:
This is not a purpose-built backpack, it is designed as a shoulder bag that can be worn on your back whilst commuting (I use mine on my moped).
The straps of each bag are reinforced with additional fabric (so that they are sewn to three layers in total) however please note the ripstop is a lighter material. If you plan to carry heavier loads I recommend the black drill bag as the fabric is sturdier.
